Carnival Cruise Line

America’s most popular cruise line. Fun, affordable, and departing from ports across the US. The perfect first cruise and a great value for families and groups.

Why Carnival?

Carnival Cruise Line has earned its reputation as the Fun Ships for good reason. With departures from more US homeports than any other cruise line, Carnival makes cruising accessible and affordable without sacrificing the experience. Their ships are lively, well-staffed, and packed with dining, entertainment, and activities that keep guests busy from sunrise to after midnight. For first-time cruisers, families on a budget, and large groups looking to travel together without breaking the bank, Carnival delivers consistent value across their entire fleet.

Explore the Fleet by Ship Class

Carnival operates six ship classes sailing from homeports across the US. Click any class below to learn about the ships, onboard features, and which itineraries they sail.

  • Excel Class — Mardi Gras, Celebration, and Jubilee. The BOLT roller coaster, six zones, and over 20 dining venues. Carnival’s best. Homeports in Port Canaveral, Miami, and Galveston.
  • Vista Class — Vista, Horizon, and Panorama. Sky Ride cycling track, IMAX Theater, and the first onboard brewery. Homeports in Galveston, Miami, and Long Beach.
  • Dream Class — Dream, Magic, and Breeze. WaterWorks aqua park, multiple pools, and strong value. Great from New Orleans, Baltimore, and Miami.
  • Conquest Class — Conquest, Glory, Valor, Liberty, and Freedom. Gulf Coast workhorses with multiple New Orleans and Port Canaveral homeports. Best value in the fleet.
  • Spirit Class — Spirit, Pride, Legend, and Miracle. Smaller ships ideal for Alaska, Australia, and drive-to-port from Baltimore and Tampa.
  • Sunshine Class — Sunshine and Radiance. Fully rebuilt and modernized ships with unique venues. Homeports in Charleston and Long Beach.

Celebration Key in the Bahamas is Carnival’s new private island destination, opened in 2024. Half Moon Cay, also in the Bahamas, is a long-established private island stop featured on many Carnival itineraries.
