Family Travel
Vacations that work for everyone at the table, from the toddlers to the grandparents. We plan every detail so your family can actually enjoy the trip.
Why Family Travel Needs a Specialist
Planning a trip for one or two adults is one thing. Planning a trip for a family of five, or a multigenerational group with grandparents and toddlers and teenagers all traveling together, is something else entirely. The questions multiply fast. Which cabin fits everyone? What resort has a kids club for the little ones and a pool bar for the adults? Which dining plan is actually worth it? What happens if someone gets sick?
As a mom of four, I approach every family booking the way I plan trips for my own kids. I know what matters when you are traveling with children of different ages, what can go wrong, and how to set up the trip so the whole family comes home saying they want to go back. I have been doing this for ten years and family travel is genuinely one of my favorite things to plan.

Family Cruises
A cruise is one of the best values in family travel. You unpack once, wake up somewhere new every day, and have built-in entertainment, dining, and activities for every age group all in one place. No coordinating multiple hotel reservations. No arguing over where to eat. No schlepping bags across airports between destinations.
Royal Caribbean is the gold standard for family cruising. The Icon and Oasis class ships are essentially floating resorts with waterparks, FlowRider surf simulators, rock climbing walls, zip lines, kids clubs, and entertainment that runs all day and into the evening. Star of the Seas at Port Canaveral pairs beautifully with a Disney World or Universal pre-cruise stay. Icon of the Seas out of Miami is the most talked-about family ship in the world right now.
Carnival offers excellent family value, especially for first-time cruising families who want to try it without a major investment. The Excel class ships like Mardi Gras and Celebration have BOLT, the first roller coaster at sea, which is a guaranteed hit with kids.
Disney Cruise Line is in a category of its own for families with young children. Character meets, immersive storytelling, a kids club that kids genuinely do not want to leave, and dedicated adult spaces so parents can decompress while the little ones are entertained. Disney sailings out of Port Canaveral pair naturally with Disney World before or after.
We help you choose the right ship, the right cabin category, and the right itinerary based on your kids’ ages and your family’s priorities. Connecting cabins, family suites, and bunk bed configurations all vary by ship and we know which options work best for different family sizes.
Family All-Inclusive Resorts
The right all-inclusive resort for a family is one where the kids are genuinely entertained and the adults can actually relax at the same time. Not every resort delivers on both.
Beaches Resorts is the best family all-inclusive brand in the world and it is not particularly close. Camp Sesame with Sesame Street characters keeps kids ages 2 through 10 happy all day. Teen programming runs separately. Pirates Island Waterpark at Turks and Caicos is included in the rate. No tipping, no hidden fees, and butler suites for families who want the full experience. We are proud Beaches Certified Specialists.
Nickelodeon Hotels and Resorts is another strong family option. Character interactions, themed activities, and the kind of energy that keeps kids talking about the trip for months.
Hard Rock Hotels offer family-friendly all-inclusive options in Mexico and the Dominican Republic with solid kids clubs, multiple pools, and enough variety to keep families of all ages happy.
Disney and Universal Vacations
Theme park trips require more planning than almost any other vacation type, and the difference between a well-planned Disney or Universal trip and a poorly planned one is enormous. We handle the dining reservations, the park strategy, the hotel selection, and the day-by-day plan so your family spends time on rides instead of waiting in the wrong lines.
For Disney World, we help you choose the right resort tier, navigate the dining reservation system, and build a touring plan that accounts for your kids’ ages and must-do priorities. The opening of Epic Universe at Universal has made multi-park Florida trips even more compelling for families who want to see it all.
For Universal Orlando, on-site hotel selection is the most important decision you make. Premier and Preferred hotels include Unlimited Express Pass, which can save a family of four several hundred dollars per day versus buying passes separately. We help every family decide whether the upgrade is worth it based on their specific travel dates and priorities.
Multigenerational Travel
Some of the most meaningful trips I have planned have been multigenerational ones. Grandparents, parents, and grandchildren all traveling together creates memories that last in a way a regular vacation simply does not.
Multigenerational groups have specific needs. Mobility considerations for older travelers. Activities that hold attention across a 40-year age gap. Room configurations that keep the group connected without being on top of each other. Dining options that work for picky kids and adventurous adults at the same meal.
Cruises are particularly well-suited for multigenerational travel because every family member can do what they want during the day and come together for dinner in the evening. Royal Caribbean’s suite class with the Royal Genie service is especially popular for larger family groups who want a premium experience with someone handling all the details on board.
