About the Expedition Ships
Seabourn Venture and Pursuit carry around 264 guests and are ice-strengthened for polar operations. Each ship carries two submarines for underwater exploration to depths of up to 300 meters, 24 Zodiacs for shore excursions, kayaks, and hydrophones. The expedition team includes expert naturalists, scientists, historians, and cultural specialists. The Grill by Thomas Keller is on board and all dining, beverages, gratuities, and shore excursions are included in the expedition fare. These are the only luxury cruise ships in the world offering submarine excursions to guests.
