Oceania Vista and Allura Class Ships
Oceania’s newest and most refined ships. 1,200 guests, all-veranda staterooms, the Culinary Discovery Tour, Ember restaurant, Aquamar Kitchen, and the most destination-focused itineraries in the premium category.
The Ships
- Oceania Vista — Launched May 2023. The first of the Allura class ships and the first Oceania vessel built to the new design standard. 1,200 guests, 67,000 gross tons, all-veranda staterooms, and the debut of Ember restaurant and Aquamar Kitchen on the Oceania fleet.
- Oceania Allura — Launched July 2025. The second and final Allura class ship. Sister ship to Vista with refinements including a relocated library with floor-to-ceiling windows, a new creperie, and the Culinary Discovery Tour combining shore excursions with 24-station onboard cooking classes. Commissioned July 10, 2025, with maiden voyage sailing Mediterranean itineraries from Trieste to Athens.
What These Ships Do Exceptionally Well
The Allura class ships are built for travelers who prioritize destination depth and culinary quality over onboard entertainment and activities. Every stateroom has a veranda. The standard staterooms are among the largest in the premium category. Ember, the signature restaurant serving reimagined American classics, and Aquamar Kitchen, which focuses on wellness-oriented cuisine, are both included in the fare. Specialty dining across all venues is included with no surcharge.
The Culinary Discovery Tour is an exclusive Oceania program that takes guests to local markets at select ports, guides them through ingredient selection, and brings them back to the ship for a structured cooking class at one of 24 dedicated cooking stations. It is one of the most genuinely experiential programs any cruise line offers and it fits naturally with the Oceania brand identity.
Itineraries
Vista and Allura sail worldwide itineraries with a strong emphasis on Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Baltic. Itineraries tend to be longer than mainstream cruise sailings, often 10 to 14 nights, and the port selection favors smaller, less-visited destinations that larger ships cannot access. This is intentional. Oceania is not built for one week in the Western Caribbean. It is built for travelers who want to go somewhere and actually experience it.
